New parsons!!!

Extensionofgreen

Chameleon Enthusiast
They need some hydration and fattening up, but they are perfect! They will get a vet check, Monday, the 11th.
I am attempting to post pictures here, but they may be in my album. I'm sure how that will work.

That's what I'm talking about bro...I'm curious was you member of CIN? Just asking I was one myself all my info I got back then came from them and a lot of other members that kept this beautiful species...
best luck with them keep us posted..(y)

It's possible. I've been out of the chameleon hobby for about 10 years, so I don't recall all of the online discussions I was part of. I recall a yahoo group for parsonii, I was part of.

Lol...I myself was out for 16 year's. Just getting back myself... my last animal's we're a pair of white lip parsonii and melleri lot's think change over the years I feel like a newbie again..Lol...Wish you only the best..

I was keeping mostly melleri and a pair of parsonii, when I left the hobby.
My favorite female melleri passed, right after the joy of the first F2 hatchlings were born. I was just too broken from the strain of being young, having so many chameleons, many ambitions, few dollars, and then that loss was too much to bounce back from. I felt so defeated and lost my drive to push through.
I'm glad I took a break, though. I have become better prepared and am less impulsive.

Ok, so in my utter excitement, I forgot to snap pics, while the cage was open, but I snapped one, after feeding them, so here is there online deput, albeit through the mesh.

Btw, that came about 9 hours ago and were placed in their cage 30 mins after arrival (had to have them delivered to my partner's job and have him drop them off, since they couldn't be shipped during the cold, to arrive on my day off). They had all day to drink, warm up, and get settled. There were 2 reasonable bowel movements and healthy appetites awaiting me. Both seemed to prefer superworms, though hornworms, silkworms, soldier fly larvae, and dubia were also consumed. They each ate about 5 insects, with the male having 7. Some items were left in feeder cups and silkworms on branches, so they can eat with both eyes on their prey and not on me. Lol The female is having nothing to do with me, while the male seems to appreciate the "food God", already.
Ok, so only one photo of the male seems to want to show itself. My internet is not high speed, since I live in the woods. It will be stronger at night and I'll open the cage to remove uneaten prey.

Congratulations!! The female in particular looks to be in fantastic shape. I'm going to break down and jump on the parsonii train before too long.

Keep us posted on these two. Exciting stuff!
