Alrighty, so my brother's friend found a panther chameleon on the side of the road and let me have it.
So since my situation is a little odd, I have to everything g backwards, I know normally that you would have the cage and everything set up before you get the lizard.
I think he's (assuming it's a he) still pretty young, he's only green and and not too fat.
I got him yesterday and we've been keeping him in our porch. It's pretty much like a Florida room, it has a bunch of huge windows with screens for him to climb on and get some Sun.
My boyfriend has an iguana, but I know this is a while new ball game lol.
We plan on building him a screen cage and spray misting him ourselves. I got him some crickets and calcium today and set him in a little tank to contain the crickets and try and get him to eat while I'm at work. I know that the tank was probably a bad idea, but it's the only place I can put him with his crickets and contain the crickets.
I've done quite a bit of research but some expierenced tips would be awesome. I've also been letting him try and adjust to the environment and not handling him unless I have to since he was probably really stressed when we found him.
Any tips are appreciated. Please and thanks!
