Hi!
I have sucessfully kept a female yemen chameleon over the past year and i have utterly fallen in love with keeping chameleons. After this year and nursing her through two clutches of eggs, i feel that i now have the experience to add a new member to my chameleon family. I dont have a lot of money, but i have a spare screen enclosure from my friend. If you have any suggestions of what species may be suitable for a second chameleon please let me know!
Thanks,
Harvey

If your cage is large enough, you can get a jacksons.
Buy a male, 5 or more months old, and they are not expensive.
I got mine from FL Chams. Mike nearly always has them, and his stock is always very healthy. Must be that nice Florida sunshine :D

I'd go with trioceros sternfeldi (rudis chameleon) they are beautiful little guys who stay fairly small. They do live birth and you can house small groups of females with one male as long as there are lots of visual barriers. I have two right now and they are so friendly! They love hanging out on my shoulder or on my hair

Maybe a Carpet Chameleon. I have decided on this species myself because I also have other lizards to still take care of. I just Ordered one Female friday from Mike at FLChams. His are captive bred so they are pricier, but not too bad in terms of captive bred chameleons overall. He has 2 females and 1 male left I think. VooDoo chameleons also appears to have 2 captive bred males. At my house right now we have decided to go with a smaller chameleon for now. Our last Veiled took up too much real estate. We have an three interspecies lizard paludarium that takes up space and time. So the smaller chameleon was a more well though out decision for now. As it only needs its own 5 cubit foot cage. Just a thought.
