New Nosy Mitsio Pictures

The second pic's do reveal alot. This is what happens when you cross breed. The stripes or star on the eye is throwing me off not to mention the red dots. Im sticking with montane species from here out.

i believe he is cross i am pissed about it but i am ok with it i just gotta keep on i will be alot more careful with the next purchases believe me...

Im sorry but that is not 100% Mitsio. I dont care what you "experts" say, its not pure. loks like Ambilobe/mitsio or nosy be/mitsio.

Now that we see more pic's you can tell something is up but you cant from the first picture. The expert thing was uncalled for.

I think if this purchase of a cross was a mistake, it was an excellent one. It is a beautiful animal, very vibrant! I love it! :)

I cant say no that's the problem. Also finding a true locale now days is like pulling teeth.

Yeah this is true. But I am trying my best... My ambanjas look good now i just have to wait on these ch falys and i will begood to go... O wait I need sambavas and Nosy bes too...lol.

I concur.... For the most part at least. The criticism is just going to get worse from here on out.

To OP's: Im going to have to agree with the others here. Thank you for being civil about the opinions of others, no one wants to hear their Pardalis is a cross. Your animal is stunning regardless! :)

I dont mean you brother. I know you have nothing but good intentions. You chameleons are sweet.

In my opinion, if your Mitsio has any blue, it's probably a cross.
I love Mitsios and I have 4 males and 3 females (pics are on my profile in two albums - one called Pete and one called Mitsios - for anyone who wants to take a look and judge)... Mitsios do sometimes have red "U" bars and reddish/brown markings, but I have never seen a pure Mitsio with significant blue on it... other people will tell you otherwise and claim they do have blue, and they may be right, but in my experience blue = bad when you're dealing with Mitsios.
Another good way to judge is to check them when they're sleeping... almost all male mitsios will start to fire up yellow when they're asleep (especially on the stomach and throat)... if the blue comes through more when they are asleep, then you've likely got some form of cross...
And no, I'm not looking for a debate... I'm just sharing my personal observation on the matter.

The mitsio in my avatar lateral line would turn blue once in awhile. But that was it.
