I just joined this forum, and I hope to learn as much as possible from the experienced keepers here. I just purchased my second chameleon that I was told is a 5 month old male ambilobe panther. I had a WC jackson 4 years ago that passed away due to bad health. Here is some info on the schedule and setup for my current chameleon.

- 8:00am lights on
- 9:00am 5 min hand mist
- 11:00am feed 6 calcium dusted medium sized crickets
- 12:00pm 2 min hand mist
- 2:00pm 6 crickets
- 3:00pm 2 min mist
- 6:00pm 5 min mist
- 8:00pm lights out

The setup
- cage is a 18x 18x 36
- repti glo 5.0 14w linear tube with a aquarium reflector
- basking lamp with a Zilla blue incandescent 50w bulb
- a golden pothos
- some plastic vines
- a dripper
- zoomed temp and humidity analog gauges

I supplement zoomed repti calcium without d3 daily and with d3 twice a month with a multivitamin.

You wan to feed him soon after the lights come on as they need the warmth to digest. I personally use the reptisun 5.0.

I forgot to mention the basking temps stay at 88 deg and the humidity around 70% after the mist and stay around 55% most the time.

Welcome to the forum :) Nice looking girl!

You may want to ditch the analog thermometer and pick up a cheap digital one from Wal Mart or Home Depot. Analog have been known to be inaccurate.

I was thinking about picking one up but i have read reviews about the walmart hygrometers being 10%-12% inaccurate.
