Just joined and new to chameleon's. We have two, sorry don't remember what kind right now, they long to my wife and son, just trying to learn more about them. I do know they start with an S lol.

You shouldnt keep the chams in the same cage. taht is a big no noIt stresses them out.

i do not know what they are?

maybe senegal chameleons? or flap neck chameleons? not sure, some on ewill ID them for you and would give you the specific details,

and a suggested. it would be best to house them seperately especially if they are of the opposite sex and can breed, either way, they will go down hill slowly.

I'm in the process of building two cages now. Will they be okay for about a week or so. The pet store told me they would be fine together.

Hello and welcome to the group. Sadly pet stores give out a lot of very bad advice. Yes they will be fine for a week,no you don't want them together long term and I also believe the are senegals. What part of the world are you located in? Knowing where you are gives us a chance to give suggestions better directed with the conditions you have. Just ask questions and soom you will know more than the wife and kids.

Yes I thinks that is the species. I live in the US. NJ to be specific.
