Hello!

I am brand new the the forums and I am excited to meet all of you.

I am a novice/intermediate hobbiest of various lizards. I have kept Anoles, Leopard Geckos, and my favorite, Bearded Dragons.

I am Hawaiian, and when I lived in Hawaii, I "kept" Jackson Chameleons, meaning, that they were wild, and I would catch them, place them into a tree near my home, and observe them and handle them on rare occassion.

I now live in Portland, Oregon, and I feel that I am finally at a time in my life where I can financially provide for a high-needs lizard. I am very curious about what a hardy chameleon would be, and the appropriate brands of cages to keep for him. My Bearded, Huxley, currently lives in a 200 gallon cage, but I must admit I feel guilty and wish he could have a much larger space. I am extremely consious of an animals well being, and would like to provide the best enclosure possible.

That said, I am very open to suggestions for easier chameleons to look into, and their proper equipment and enclosures. Thank you very much for everything-

Hello And Welcome!!!:)

For a starter cham, they say a veiled male chameleon, or male panther chameleon...but you can also try CB jacksons, since you "kept" some before...It really all depends on which cham you like to have and the amount of time and research you are willing to care for it:cool:
