Hi
I'm new to the whole chameleon world. So I started by building a enclosure. My question is can I run the 2 sides and back in glass and the front and top screened. I have a reptifogger for the enclosure and was planning on a pair of veiled chameleons with live plants. The enclosure is 24x24x46. All help would be appreciated

Looks really awesome in there, like the cage design.
You may wanna do glass on the front and back and screen elsewhere, for the top use light diffusing panel, it's strong and will allow awesome light through more so then tight screen.
I wouldn't put two chameleons in there unless you have two cages.
They will stess. :/
The fogger will add a nice effect of fog but a misting system for not much more will provide better humidity and watering.

Your cage design will work for one adult cham, not 2. If you really want 2 chams I'd design a cage large enough to divide in half (for example 48 wide, 46 tall, 24 deep) and put a visual barrier between them. That way they can share one long UV light.

Depending on your particular climate and house temps (cold and dry in winter for example), you may need to close in more of the screen to keep the humidity level a bit higher. You can do this with removable plexiglas panels or clear plastic sheeting. Be aware that SOME chams will react to their reflection in glass and display to what they think is a rival. Kind of hard to predict and the angle of the lighting is probably a big factor. I have had some chams who did stress and paw at glass or display constantly, but others didn't. Just something to consider.

Thanks guys . I live in Ohio and my house is usually around 65-70° year round. there is no heat or cooling vent neer the enclosure. I can return the fogger and buy a misting system .only one Chem hmm even babies or pygmys?
