New Furniture for Amy & Tommy!

While at B&Q yesterday I spotted some of the supports that you get with the larger houseplants such as Pothos, etc. They were on sale singly for a bargain price of £1.48 each! I thought they would make nice walkways for Amy & Tommy's cages and bought them one each!:D

When I was at my parent's house the other day, they had been moving furniture around and Mum said that they had got rid of the large fake schefflera that had been sat on the landing for years! OMG! I've had my eye on that plant for the chams for ages and ages, and Mum had just left it out in the garden!! So the plant was kindly given to Amy and Tommy! I would've been gutted if they had dumped it - it's 4ft high and really nice looking! Anyways, it's safely in my conservatory awaiting a clean! Here's a pic! Amy and Tommy love their Grandparents even more now!:p:D

I'm a little concerned about the hair/string like stuff on the supports in the first picture. They could eat it or get their nails caught in it. I love the plant though!!!! You can let them take turns and free range on it. :D

Hi I noticed u live in the uk I was just wondering if I could ask u a few questions as most of the chameleon keepers on here are in the us so variations in weather etc.
I was just wondering how you get on with keeping the humidity up in your chameleon cages as our weather is alot cooler and less humid than parts of the us ? And what size and type of cage u keep your male chameleon in ?

Thanks lizzie

oooo nice plant LOL but whos gonna get it :p

i also have them supports in with lily as theyre attached to the plant

she's fine with it and actually loves holding onto it more then a normal branch, cos its wide it also allows them to be hidden so she plays hide and seek behind them  but yeah ive had no problem with them in with mine

I've been looking for those plant supports for ages! I have never seen them around! If i go near a B&Q this weekend I'll definitely snap some up! :D

Thanks for your concern Jann, but they are commonly used as plant supports over here. I don't free range food anyway - my chams are spoilt and are both hand fed! I don't think there's much chance of them eating any really - Tommy won't eat anything that doesn't move and Amy seems to have grown out of her leaf eating stage!

Luckky15 I have pm'ed you.
