New female Veiled.

Greetings all! It has been a while since I have been on. I just gotten a female veiled chameleon. I believe she is sexual mature and the previous owner said she was also kept with another chameleon. My question is... Is getting ready to lay eggs? She seems bloated in my opinion. But she hasn't been trying to dig or anything. I still have to get a laying bin ready for her. I just want some of your thoughts.

Agreed. If she allows you feel along her side toward her hind legs, gently! They won't always dig and roam the cage. In most cases yes, but not always. I would get her a laying bin.

Trying out her laying bin. Well thisnisnt the first time. She is getting fat and hasn't been showing signs of her wanting to lay and its worrying me...

I'll third that. She's definitely gravid and looks ready to lay. I'd just put her into a large laying bin with a foot or so of wet play sand. Put some branches and greenery in for cover and hopefully she hasn't been holding them too long. She looks more round than most of my females when they are laying.
