Hey, I have to give credit to my Welsh Terrier (Buster) he alerted me to something going on with Simone...once I addressed it & got her a laying bin, he was not frantically acting to her & her habitat.
So I guess he is the midwife...

you iz soooo bad.

So do I count your vote in the "not fertile" column?

I would say anythings possible, you wont be able to tell 100% until several weeks from now, either they will start to collapse (not fertile) or you will start to see veins. Typically a egg that is not fertile is yellowish in color as a fertile egg tends to be white, but its hard when they are first laid. I wouldn't go as far as to get a incubator, but try to house them with proper care and see what happens. Anything is possible :D.................or as i was saying, 36 eggs, about 10 eggs per omelet, thats 3 omelets and maybe a breakfast sandwich worth. :D:D:D oh ya:D:D:D:D

I just did a measurement of the blue blanket she was stretched out on in the one picture.

she is between 8"-9" long, tail included...she is small...I wonder if the reason for the broken pelvis was MBD & an aggressive male when mating.

of course all this egg thing could explain her recent lack of eating & cranky...

if I had 36 eggs in me I would sure be cranky.:p

well I tucked them back under the sand & put a 60 W bulb above the pan. my thermometer probe (finally a use for that since I don't cook) reads 69-70.
