New Enclosure

Hopefully that uploaded right... First time uploading a picture here.

Here is a picture of the enclosure as of right now. The UVB light is off because we raised it on a small table and it won't reach to the outlet. :\ We have to go get a power strip for it tomorrow. Other than that, we may put a couple more sticks in it and may put another fake vine in there for a little bit until the pothos plant gets a little bit bigger. Any suggestions? We're open to anything.

Enclosure is for a veiled, by the way.

It looks good Andrew except I don't believe that the Corn Plant is safe for chameleons. If I remember correctly is had sap that can harm them. There's a couple of safe plant list in this older thread linked below so you can check it out. Also I would worry about the big leaves. I don't think he could hold on to them especially when they get wet and slick.

Hmmm... That is disappointing if true. All of my research showed that it is not toxic and doesn't have sap that can hurt chameleons (like the ficus and umbrella can).

I am concerned about the size of the leaves though. I figure I will see how he does with the sticks and vines being around them at the start. If not, I will have to switch it up!

If you could provide any sources for the Dracaena fragrans toxicity, I would appreciate it so I could replace it before I get him

Start a thread to see what others say. I am not a plant expert that's for sure. I knew nothing about plants or bugs until I got chameleons. I do remember my daughter had one in one of her cham free ranges and took it out and gave it to her neighbor and said something about the sap. I do see it's on the FL Chams safe plant list.

The ficus and Sheffelera/umbrella are probably the two top plants that keepers use. They are safe even if eaten.
