I just built an extension onto the exo terra LET ME NOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!

Is that a red nightbulb? I dont think veterans here recommend it here. You also might need to get atleast a 22" 5.0 UVB florecent tube to cover that distance (reptile stores should now have the fixtures that come with the tube at a good price) Plus you need a basking light. Check the caresheets for your cham/s. Looks pretty cool though. is the extension stable?

I would suggest that you remove the light from the side of the cage for a couple of reasons.

1. There should be a natural light gradient in the cage. Bright up top, dim at the bottom, just like in nature. They will move throughout that gradient.

2. It is not natural and may disturb them. They can't get away from the bright light which would never come at them from the side.

A great idea overall, but there are some little details like this that would be good for you to correct.

Yes super stable I have made it so the clips the held the old screen top down hold the extension down, I will remove the, side light and no its not a red night light its a 60w incandescent, the picture just makes it look red and dim

I think your lizard will never venture down to the bottom of the enclosure again. I would have just built a new wider cage and bought new lizards for the old enclosure. But looks like you had fun and kudos for being creative.
