what is best leaving eggs 6 inches below peat moss as mom laid or exposing eggs on surface and keeping a eye on them for the next several months?eggs were laid one week ago 10-12-09

Could we have a little more info, what kind of eggs are we talking about? Where are you, and what temps are the eggs at if left where they are?

Its hard to control the humidity when the eggs are left where they were laid IMHO.

a veiled chameleon and we live in cape coral fla. 62 eggs were laid in peat moss 10-12 and since then I moved them inside the house to control temp.I left them in a tupperware container with moist peat moss 6 inches below surface,is this a good idea?
