Yup mine will only eat crickets when out side in the playpen, then he will eat 2-3 dozen. Inside you hand him a cricket and he acts like your trying to hit him with a red hot poker.
I'm sure it does not help that I have a large hanging pitcher plant in view and let her climb on it when I get home from work. This is the plant she likes to be on when she eats.
Mine have changed over the last year I had him, He went to eating all feeders out my hand to eating none. I have never been able to get him to eat outside the cage. I think he no longer thinks about food after he is out lol
