I picked up my 2 rudis girls yesterday morning. I got them from Holly at Xtreme exotics and she was great. These 2 were from the same group that were delivered here before (the 2 my cats got to). Anyway, Fric and Frac are super nice and healthy. Fric loves to bask, and always comes to greet us when we walk by the enclosure. Much to her dislike we have gotten a bulb that doesn't give off as much heat as the first one we had in (no 87 degrees for you, my little rudis friend). Frac is gravid, and is the most beautiful green, with yellow lateral stripes. She's quite shy and loves to sit behind the plants. They are both eating crickets and mealworms. They are cup fed, but will also hunt. They are not over eaters. They were wild caught, but have been in long terma captivity, and have been dewormed. They came hydrated, fed, happy and healthy. I'm so excited to have them, and I can't wait for babies! I have an excellent mentor here, so I don't have to worry about what to do with babies. I'm also expecting Bearded pygmy babies!

Congrats, I love the rudis species. Take it easy with the mealworms and if you can, feed sparingly or replace with silkworms, butterworms, roaches, etc..
