New Chameleon!!

Hello, my name is Mike and I'm new. I just bought a chameleon from Petsmart 2 weeks ago and I have been using this website as my guide.

She is a 4 month old female veiled and her name is Medusa. I have her in a small exo-terra terrarium that i bought, but she needs more space already so i just placed an order on lllreptile.com for the following items...

1 24x24x48 Aluminum screen cage
3 Rex Bio Vines
1 24" Light Fixture
1 Repti-Sun 5.0 18" Bulb

I already own..
Homemade drip system
Clamp Lamp Ceramic Fixture with bulb (for basking)
Plenty of fake Vines and Plants already

I plan on getting some ficus from Lowe's, and i'm shopping for a mister right now. But anyhow, here are some pix of Medusa, enjoy...

She looks good! Make sure to clean leaves and branches of the ficus to get the pesticides off; change the soil to organic also. I was told by the nursery that my ficus would drop it's leave due to the shock of being moved when I bought it...it dropped only 3 leaves, so must clean them.)

do you already have a 24" bulb to go with that fixture and a 18" fixture to go with that bulb?

The Fixture that i bought from LLL is a 24" fixture, but it houses an 18" bulb.

Right now i have a coil repti-glo 5.0 UVB. I know that's no good, so i'm hoping my order comes in fairly quickly.

If shes under the compact for a short time dont sweat it.

Dont worry, I've used ReptiGlo for years without any trouble (but the reptiSUN is better)

yeah i had to edit my post, it actually was a repti-SUN that i ordered, so thank goodness.
