New Chameleon Parent And Member Here :)

Hello Everyone! I am a new Veiled Chameleon Parent as of Saturday, and am generally excited for her upcoming life here with me. I got her at a reptile show, and she is very big. I don't know her age :eek: , maybe someone can help with that. She is in an Reptibreeze 16x16x30, and is quite large. She is eating crickets. She has a heat bulb, and a uvb bulb. She has been scared of me since we have gotten home, and tries to bite me. At the expo, she was all over me. I also have a monsoon (Exo Terra Misting System) that I am setting up tonight. Also, please, If you have any tips, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I'd love to hear. Thanks to everyone in advance! I'm a new member, and plan to stay a while. :D
 
Welcome o the forums its the best place i come to for my knowledge and help.Well if you would post some pictures we could try to guess an age and if she is older then 6-8 months then you probly want to move her to a bigger age such as a 18x18x36 as that can last females there whole life as there adult I enclosure. And congrats on becoming a parent to a beautiful majestic species u will be surfing this website everyday I can almost garuntee it :)

^^^^^ if u can fill that out its an excellent way for us to see how if setup and make sure ur on track! :).
In order to age them we need a pic of him with u or next to something for reference..
Very happy u found us this place is excellent! :)
And usually after moving a week is a good settlig time but veileds tend to he s little on the aggressive side :)
 
Welcome! When you say large, do you mean as in fat? She can be carrying eggs whether they bred her or not. Please post some pics so we can see her and make sure just likes to eat!!!
