New Chameleon owner

i Will be getting a new juvenile veiled chameleon soon and do not know to much on how to sex them or weather i should have a open cage or glass cage can anyone help me?

I'm pretty new myself! Just about everyone on here will recommend you with a screen enclosure! It's good for ventilation. I don't know much about sexing chams so the more experienced will have to help with that! Good luck with your cham! Post lots of pictures too!

Veileds are fairly easy to sex.
Males wil have tarsal spurs. which look like 'pimples' on the back of the back feet, wear the 'heels' are.
Screen cages are the recommended, however,m glass can be used depending on where you live.

Most of us use screen cages.

As for veiled sexing, males have little spurs on the back of their foot. its just like a little dot on young animals, but you can clearly see it.
