New chameleon owner!

Hi! I got my veiled chameleon around a month ago and she is just a couple months old. I was wondering how other chameleon owners clean their cage without them being scared/angry? Because i tried to move her and now she’s hiding away from me… any advice would be appreciated it!!

I always just did what needed to be done as quickly and unobtrusively as possible. I tried to keep my body low and small, which wasn’t so hard since I’m very short and my enclosures are all very high. I also tried to keep the floor plan simple, so I didn’t have to move many plants around. There have been times when I’ve needed to do a bigger thing and I grab a small flashlight and go in at night in the dark when my chameleon is asleep. Even though I switched to bioactive a while ago, I still do big changes at night in the dark.
