I just bought a Jackson Chameleon yesterday and I am hoping that she is happy. I noticed that today she has been a dark green, brownish color. I have read that can mean she is too cold, but it is nearly 85 in her basking spot. Also I have been spritzing her tank with a spray bottle and also spritzing her back with the water, but she doesnt seem to like this at all.
Any suggestions? Am I doing things right?

actually Jackson's like it on the cooler side and 85 is a little high for the basking. Her coloring is most likely due to her being nervous and stressed in her new environment. Do not spray her directly. Spray the cage around her if she does not like it. The spraying is really more to give them opportunities to drink off the leaves, branches etc and to raise the humidity. You are only going to stress her out more.

Ok thank you, what can I do to make it cooler? The pet store sold me a 100 watt bulb and I do not have a stand to hold it higher above the cage.
