Looks like you di a goodjob.

My only concern is that there is a lot of space where you your cham is out of reach inside the cage. You will have a hell of a time getting him out of the cage if you need to remove him for any reason.

That is something i was going to say.

Nice looking cage though:D

You may want to possibly make the whole front a door? Or just the two sides?
Ya I made this mistake with my first cage...Had only one door on one side. But its Awesome;)

cool cage -- nice and big! i bet you guys had a good time working on it. like others have said, you probably want to consider how you would get at your cham, or the furnishings inside the cage for routine cleaning, etc, if he were say in the upper bout of the cage (they naturally head for as high as they can get). good luck and let us know how it goes

yeah. door is too small. my cage i built myself(i'm 14) is very similar. It has the door covering nearly the whole front though.

Idk..your cage is very..climbless if thats what it still looks like. Add highways and other plants/vines...Not bad of a cage tho

this is wat it will look like this on the in side when its done

Derek I think it is awesome with alot of room. As others suggested, I would make the door bigger, like the whole side. It makes it easier to get plants in and out, etc. How are you going to water, misting system, drip? How will the water drain?

i this is what i am puting in his cage

Crane 1 Gallon Warm Mist Humidifier,Black

Large Capacity Diaphragm misting pump

i am goin to put the exo terra soil bricks in the bottom to soak up the water

Are you sure the height of the cage (without the stand) is 30"? It looks just about as tall as it is wide... just curious. :D Nice n roomy regardless.

As everyone else would say I would make a larger door, you'll thank yourself later when squirming to fit yourself through that little door to retrieve your little friend who will most likely won't go jumping into your arms!

My suggestion on the door, is to not make it across the entire front. That horizontal brace you put in, that is directly above the existing door, is nice for keeping your cage more stable. I would make the door as tall as it is now, but just widen it all the way to the edges of the cage. You should then be able to access all points of the cage, have plenty of room to move plants/branches in or our without too many issues.

Shouldn't be too hard to do this, would think you could just remove the door, remove the two upright pieces of wood & the screen on either side of the old door. Build a door to fit this space & voila! :D

Good luck!
