New Chameleon Cage project

ISA my Veiled

New Member
So here is my new project, I am taking this end counter and converting it into a part screen cage(cutting out holes in the sides and partially on back) with an extended top on it. This will be for either my current female or my next male whether it be a Jacksons or Veiled. This next couple weeks seeing as I have quite a bit of time I will be working on it. here is my layout...Ideas

1. The bottom is gonna be replaced with a waterproof board for drainage in the bottom, OR installing plant holders/Lay box into the bottom so that the there is enough space for a good amount of plants.

2. Use a housetop design(upside-down V) and make a rack for a drip system and misting system along with a UVB tube for convince.

3. Installing a feeder for crickets that will be towards the top but put into the corner so that I can drop in crickets for less stress(put the top with the cap on the top corner sticking out of the screen mesh.)Personally I enjoy hand feeding but it would make a good quick device to put in.

Anymore ideas? Feel free to add you opinions and let me know if you think something would be cool to add into it :)
Thanks

Looks like a cage u would buy at a pet store. Very nice setup. I wish I can do that. Good job. Peace

How will you unstall the plant holder boxes in the bottom?

I am going to add a platform help up by a square of wood and pre drill the holes the size of what my plant holder will be, along with an egg laying bin possibly. The new cage should be about 5 feet tall at least when I add the extensions on :) only will cost me about 50 bucks considering I have a lot of the supplies already
