New Cham owner!

Hey everybody! I am going to pick up a veiled chameleon tomorrow! I checked him out at the pet store. I have enclosed an image! I do have a question, however, and I apologize if this is not the correct place to ask. Are there any noticeable health defects on him? He has all his toes and his tail is perfect! His eyes were not sunk in either and he looks well fed. The only noticeable occurrence I had was when I went to pick him
up he never darkened. Is this normal for a veiled? All other types
of chameleons I have owned darkened upon me touching them. Thanks guys for responding!
