Hi new Cham owner here. I am 40 something and been wanting one since a young girl. Finally got one, yeah me. Felt sorry for him and they way he was being kept at a pet shop. He was in a tank on the floor next to a tank full of dead hermit crabs. He is the sweetest little guy. He is a male Veiled cham. I know he is young definitely not a baby but he does look like a juvi. Other then that I have not clue on how old he could be. I got him on the 17th was worried at first due to no bowel movements at first but yesterday he finally went and today. Go Nelson!!! So I guess we are doing something right.
So after an expensive weekend on adopting a chameleon from the Pet Shop. I am enjoying watching him check out his new home and eat. How many crickets are too many crickets to feed them? Can they be overfed? Should I see his ribs? I feel he is underweight however the past few days he seems to have gotten a tad bigger.
