Chameleon Enthusiast
Hi all, as alot of you know I took in a 4 years old Panther last Monday. Had him to the vet on Thursday and it was confirmed he has gular edema. Was given an antibiotic shot as the fluid showed bacteria. Fecal clean. Cham is drinking, active, getting lots of sunshine just will not eat!!! I have offered Crickets, silks, supers and horns and no response. Been trying to catch something flying but the moths are too small that are hovering around my lights. there are butterflies all over outside but I am afraid they might be poisionous. Are the striped swallowtails safe? what about the little yellow butterflies? Anyone know? Just grasping at straws to get him to eat something!! There is a slight possibility that he ate one bug that was in his cage but that would be it. I know they can go a long time without eating but maybe not be totally concerned yet but when I get to that point if he has not eaten then what? Thanks guys!!
