Hey so my chameleon is around 6-7 months and I just hotheaded his cage and I wanna see if it’s fine or what I should add the dimensions are 2 feet by 2 feet by 4 feet

You need a linear t5 ho 5.0 uvb bulb. A lot more plants preferably live plants and get rid of the repti carpet in the bottom.

Bare bottom plastic. Trust us. Easier to clean and it won't become a breeding ground of bacteria this way.

Best to just leave the bottom bare easy clean up. The repti carpet harbour bacteria.

No prob. Ya most things for chams are expensive. I have learned that you can get a lot of the same stuff at a hydroponics stores and hardware stores for half the price.

What kind of stores would you suggest

Lowes, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, you'll have to Google local Hydroponics shops.

I get a lot of my decorations from hobby lobby. Plants from Home Depot or lowes. light fixtures and bulbs from either my local reptile store or Amazon.
