New cage season, how are we looking?

Did you do a new cage entirely or just a remodel of the one your chameleon was housed in? Looking at my layout now, I know there is a better layout that I could provide my guy and maybe some better branching systems. I would like to do it but I don't know what to do with chameleonaire while I remodel.

After an adjustment phase getting use to the new layout he is officially using the full gradient

Messing with my misting configuration we got humidity right where it should be and the plants seem to be happy

Hopefully this pothos explodes soon I mixed in worm castings to the ABG as a gentle nutrient boost as well as a means of improving aeration of the soil.

Same with the wandering dude and money tree on the left. I didn’t repot the one on the right as I tried to keep as much of the right side of the cage intact as possible.
By the way i think your enclosure looks great!

Thank you!

It’s a remodel

I took out some wood that stayed too damp and reported some plants and added a pothos I potted in better substrate I changed some climbing paths too

What I did was I put Iroh in a small dark space (ventilated shoebox with paper towel on the floor) so it was dark and he’d just go to sleep, in my opinion it’s better than temporarily holding in a bigger container they can pace and stress out in. It took me 3.5 hours he was fine.

Amazing, i honesty think that's what ill end up doing, i really want it to be stress free as possible for him, it would probably take me about that long just to get it fine-tuned to what I want. Thank you for the reply, I appreciate you!

He’s also still learning the acrylic is a solid barrier 🤣 he’ll figure it out eventually
It took Chameleonaire about a monthish to get used to the magical invisible barrier lol, I felt bad but i knew the dragon strand hybrid is exactly what I needed for the dry climate I live in. Dragon Strand for the win.

Now my main concern is making sure that left money tree doesn’t get flooded with the misting input being overhead

The top looks moist but a chopstick test says we’re okay. For now.

I used to have a good sized money tree that was like three feet tall but it funneled all of my water from misting and ended up getting rotted out. One of the braids of tree started to get all mushy and soft so i got rid of it. Too bad because i really liked the way it looked.

I’m hoping that ABG mix wicks the moisture that’s what it’s meant to do at least that pothos seems to really like it.

The structure seems thicker on the bottom planters soil though, so we shall see
