we currently have a 24''x18''x12'' cage and my chameleon is no longer as small as he was so after reading i decided to get a 4'x2'x2' aluminum screen cage. i plan to put the hibiscus and pothos we have in there but i was wondering if there was a small tree like plant that would fit(with trimming) in the enclosure. i also read we might need to cup feed but dont quite know, could i use worms or something that would stay on the tree?

and what would be a good water mister for a cage like that? we currently hand spray 2-4 times a day with the small cage.

and would i need lights halfway down or would 1 or 2 heat be ok on top.

if you have the same cage a picture is HIGHLY appreciated.

you can put a ficus tree in there. Home Depot or Lowes sells them. They are pretty tall and would fill it out nicely. The lighting stays the same. Just put your basking dome and uvb light on the top of the screen. He will move to the top to catch the light. I stillhand mist so I cannot help you out with the misting system. You can still cup feed crickets. you just have to take off their back legs so they can't jump! Any worms will be fine, just make sure the cup is not super deep and too clear where your cham will shoot at the food from the outside. He could possibly injure his tongue. Most of the worms will stick to the branches, but if you try superworms they will fall off. They don't have much of a grip. The hornworms and silkworms stick good.
