hi there,

we got our (my step) kids leopard geckos (sunshine and lemonade) as my baby, skittles the chameleon isnt the best for kids.

the gecko can't be sexed quite yet.... my question is, one is much more shy and doesn't seem to eat as much... they hide together, but i am worried the shy one wont eat enough? should i be concerned at all?

i would feed them in separate containers because one will be food dominant. if the shy one seems to not eat more then i would recommend separating them

Separation is probably the best move, if the shy one doesn't start being less shy... but sometimes it takes a gecko an entire month in a new space before they start eating. It's been 2 weeks and my crested gecko finally ate yesterday!

At least separate them until you know they're both eating and go from there, I'd think. Or just cup/hand feed them individually.
