New Around Here~

I use a stick or food to get my male out, my female is scared to death of me and I feel like I would be making her life horrible. My male would wound me if I tried to handle him wihout food everyday. His toe nails hurt enough, I wouldn't want him on me everyday anyways.

If you're lucky you may find one that likes coming out voluntarily. Otherwise, handling once a week is all that is needed. If it won't come out by itself that once a week then use a stick. Some chams just won't tolerate it at all even if you did force them to be handled everyday against their will. Just don't push it and check them once a week for health and grip. They are pretty much moving art, no need to spoil a beautiful painting with dirty fingerprints, right? :D

best thing to do to get it to know and like you is hand feed it feeder bugs once it gets use to you it builds trust mine are at the point where I hand feed them greens shaved carrots and bananas
