Need some help - Swollen Foot

I noticed that the rear foot on my Jackson is missing a nail and the area around his foot is swollen. He seems to be walking fine - but I am concerned that it might be an infection. suggestions.

I would take him to a vet. If it is an infection, you do not want to mess around with it. He will need an antibiotic.

I adopted a female Jackson's in the beginning of January and one of her problems is an infected hind foot, although she is not missing a nail. I agree that taking yours to the vet is probably the best course of action. It could just be swollen due to the missing nail, and go down on its own. Or it could be an infection, in which case you want to get it treated as soon as possible.
I have no idea where my girl's infection started, but her eye, foot (now leg as well), and the tip of her nose are all infected. The previous owner never took her to the vet, and had this been treated sooner the infection may have been wiped out or at least not spread as much as it has. I hope whatever the case is your chameleon makes a speedy recovery.
