new owner needs advice! please!!

I have a few questions for anyone who reads this. Do u feed a little chameleon everyday but dust the crickets 3 times a week? thats what i have been doing so i just want to make sure. also my chameleon kinda regergitated today and i was wondering if that was normal or if i should my worried? please reply back!:D also could i feed a 3-4 month old panther chameleon some meal worms? thanks!
(BACKGROUND INFO: He's a 3-4 month old male panther chameleon we got at the reptile supershow in Pomona two days ago. Purchased from FLChams. He educated us and set up our cage with what was needed. We got the screened cage appropriate for his size with a ficus plant inside with the proper lighting and a dripper. We've been misting him a couple times a day. So I think we're on the right track, but just had the above simple questions. Your help is appreciated!)

Welcome!

Welcome to the community! You should watch for SBCK meeting posts on the forum. A bunch of local people meet up on the last tuesday of the month in the LA area. It is a lot of fun meeting the locals and swapping bugs and showing off chams.

You could check out Brad Ramsey's site for supplement schedules. His site is about raising a veiled... but is very close to the needs of a panther.

It isn't good when they regurgitate. Was it right after eating? Sometimes a cham won't like what its eaten and spit it out. I would keep an eye out to see if he keeps other food items down.

Like Gesang said, meal worms shouldn't be used as a regular diet.

If you in the LA area I make bug runs to Mulberry Farms. You can PM me for more info.

No on the meal worms.. very bad feeder, especially for a small panther. What did he throw up?

You should post some pics of him and your setup! I'm sure he is an awesome looking little guy!:)

Welcome aboard!
