Hi there and welcome. Can you please post a picture of your enclosure lighting down and of your chameleon?Hello ! We recently got a veiled chameleon and we would love any advice regarding her enclosure and how to feed her. She has had some trouble eating the crickets, we have bark at the bottom. N top of the the crickets get out !
The set up you were told to buy is entirely wrong. There should not be anything on the floor. If the baby eats a cricket and ingests bark it can die from an impaction. You have a ton of changes to make and a lot of reading to do.We took some of the little things out where the crickets were escaping through and able to hid.

No we got her at place here in our city (San Diego)I have to ask - was this a petco purchase? (I ask because they are notorious for bad (deadly) chameleon care.) Listen to @Beman, she always gives good advice. And please hurry! You have a couple days max if it's not too late already.

Changes to the cage will need to be made very quickly to ensure the baby does not die. UVB Lighting, Live plants, Higher branches, You need small crickets about 1/4 of an inch as well and they eat at least 15 a day at that age. Your supplementation needs to be correct as well.
Read through the links it will provide complete detail for you. When you have questions come back here.

We have a small enclosure currently. Would it be best to change her to a large enclosure and should we have any kind of a dirt patch for her when she needs to lay eggs. The set up you were told to buy is entirely wrong.
