My chameleons are finished mating and I puted them in there own cage but Im really worried about them because this is 1st time I done this and I did do lots of research but I am still worried so I just want to check if my information is right
1.is it true that they takes about 14days to 33days to lay there egg?
2.is it true that they takes about 6-8month to hatch?
And I have some question
What temp, moist is the perfect temp, moist for eggs?
and what should I use for egg bedding?

Hi

3-4 weeks for laying after female starts rejecting male and will not breed any more

eggs 6-8 months yes, but may hatch a month sooner or up to 3 months later. There is a lot of variation.

Temperature for veiled and panther chameleon eggs- anything 70-80 is fine. Best results with strongest babies and shorter incubation times for me have come from variable temperature swings (day warmer/night cooler).

Best substrate is perlite or vermiculite.

I use about 3 parts perlite to 2 parts water by weight. Vermiculite I just soak in water and then squeeze as much water out by hand as I can so it no longer drips water when I squeeze hard. Then I put it in the incubation container.
