so i dont have quite enough stuff to fill my terrarium but i was curious if i could put a few branches in their if their was no vegetation on them?

by all means! Most of my enclosures consists of branches. Your cham will love you for it. Get some vines in there too. You can buy the Biovines at the pet stores.
