Need Help With Mistking again :(

Ok, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I bought two mistking pumps. I plugged each one in directly to the wall to prime them, and nothing happened.

Then I plugged them into the timer set to "On" and still nothing happened. It can't be possible that both pumps are broken. I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help? I really really appreciate it!!

Maybe either the red or black wire isn't connected. I had my red wire come out and I just plugged it back in and it worked again. It could just be that it's loose.

Thanks Thompson!! I'm an idiot!! Sorry mods and everyone, just figured it out. Think my pump was too high above the water. The thing is so quiet I couldn't even tell!! Sorry again.
