Well if you do find out she is pregnant I would recommend doing this... I don't know too much about this subject but this is to the best of my knowledge...

Get one of those big buckets (forget how many gallons) that you can get at Home Depot. Fill it about 10 inches high with dirt and place it in her cage, and make sure she has a way to get to it. Hope this helps!

The hissing and change in attitutde can be a matter of age. Chameleons tend to be nasty when going through puberty.
