well, maybe this will shed some light on that..
when i started chams (back in 1992) they all had bad info at pet stores (and apparently still do) i had a pair of jacksons i got for a "deal" and never knew they were live bearing..one day i had babies..we all start somwhere..and this is probably the best place to start..you are not beeing rude, just interested..and i think it could be a possibility that sometimes people are told the wrong info..like say buying a female that the shop had no clue was preggo??..just a possibility..
some people still dont know that they can lay unfertile eggs like chickens..
