Originally I was told that I had a male (Mfwic) and a female (SinClaire) but was recently thrown off when I was told my male looked gravid and it got me thinking I was told wrong. Any insight as to what they might be would be helpful :)

I tried to get the best pictures of the tail base but they weren't overly cooperative today.

I think you have two females there. The male senegalensis have a pronounced hemipenal bulge that I'm just not seeing on either of those two animals. I don't think either of them are gravid.

Sadly most Senegal Chameleons are wild caught and take a bit of effort to establish in captivity. I think Mfwic looks good but SinClaire is a bit thin. Make sure those gals get lots of water and I think getting a fecal done at some point on both would be prudent. These guys come in with large parasite loads which if left untreated can compromise their overall longterm health.

They are a neat underrated species so have fun with them.

Thank you!

Mf has been in my care since the beginning of feb and started about the same size as sin. I've only had here about a month a half now and she eats more than any of my other chameleons.

They really are a neat species.
