While this schedule is appropriate for a panther or veiled, it is not for a jacksons. Jacksons are more sensitive to supplementation and require less. How often you supplement will depend on many factors including how wide a variety of feeders you offer and how well you gut load. Also we dust certain feeders like crickets and roaches with calcium to correct the phosphorus to calcium ratio; therefore you would always dust those insects (and be sure your calcium does not contain phosphorus). Over supplementing a jackson can be deadly. I give calcium about 2-3 times a week and calcium with D3 1-2 times a month and a multivitamin about once a month. But this schedule can vary depending on my feeder variety and gut loading. On the days I do not want to give calcium I feed insects that do not require dusting, such as silk worms, horn worms or blue bottle flies. Supplementation is a tricky and controversial topic. There really isn't one answer that fits everyone and every situation.
