need help ..is it ok for???

You can, but you have to be careful for parasites. I mean think about, what do flys usually eat? lol and then you are feeding that to your chameleon. It is like a gutload of garbage! Any wild caught bug you feed, you are taking a chance. It is up to you.

I have to agree with Carol. Inevitably you will probably see your cham get parasites, but playing it safe reduces the risk. I feed my cham WC insects, but very seldom, trying to avoid scavenger insects. Try sticking to the herbivorous bugs, although some say bugs like grasshoppers are loaded with parasites.

feeding wild caught feeders is a back and forth debate. alot believe there are lots of benefits to feeding wc insects because they have the opportunity to have a better diet from their natural resources so in turn your cham will get it too. but the risk of parasites is always there. but even cb insect have a risk of carrying parasites one in particular called protozoa which my female jacksons had but died the following night after recieving medicine. which was my fault for not acting fast enough cause i thought it was just a hunger strike. so keep in mind regular fecals should be done whether your cham looks sick or not.

wild flies may carry bad bacteria and possibly parasites.
Although I use some wild caught insects, flies will never be one that I'd allow.

Anyone have any opinions on moths?

I guess the whole butterfly idea comes into play here. Some are probably poisonous, but I'm pretty sure not many. Just did a little googleing, some moths can carry stuff as bad as cyanide. I say just avoid the bright colored ones and you should be alright. Might do some research still.

It may not be a perfect solution, but if you were to catch flies and then allow them to live in your care for a few days or so, you could probably feed them something like a cricket gut load and it may process out some of the bacteria and bad stuff in them. Not 100% sure on that though. You would probably not get rid of quite all the bacteria, and the flies may not take well to plant matter unless rotten.

Moths and butterflies are quite different.
Moths are relatively safe. Butterflies are often quite the opposite.

Not as many moths are bad, but here are a few:

Some moths carry natural cyanide. One common moth around here, the tiger moth (just some of the tiger moth species) is pretty dangerous. Some carry not poisonous, but noxious chemicals as well.

I would assume the saddle back, puss, and flannel caterpillar moths to be dangerous. Hag moths and yellow shouldered slug moths are supposed to be bad.
