Need help choosing a right size plant for 4-6 inch chameleon

Hello I was woundering what is a good plant for a 4 to 6 inch chameleon in a 30x18x18 cage? Pretty much I would like to know of a plant that I can get while its a baby and the plant could grow along with them as well. Without buying to many plants. I looked at ficus benjermin but I only saw silk ficus trees on ebay and at 4 ft I need 23-25 inches to not let him touch the top. As you may notice im a novice so im trying to be proactive before hand and make the preparations ready for its enclosure.

Thank you for any advice before hand , one more thing if chameleons eat house hold plants do they die? whats the diffrence between them being in the wild with diffrent plants and on a organic household plant that is said to be toxic, is their something wrong with alot of other plants and do the chameleons just get stomache aches Is it because the plants arent from their habitat? Id like some input from a veteran of keeping them or knows what im talking about for some input. so I can better understand this thank you!

id suggest something that has all varieing sizes of limbs, so his feet get use to gripping all different dimensions, perhaps a small ficus and a pothos would work well

just as certain plants can kill a dog or cat or even humans, plants can kill chameleons. The plants in the wild that they may eat are plants that they have evolved with and therefore are more likely to be able to handle them.

I personally like Pothos, ficus, and dwarf umbrella plants. The umbrella plants and pothos grow rather quickly if you water them and give them adequate lighting. Plus with the pothos you can just clip some off and re-pot it to start growing a whole new plant

Oh I get it so the plants around the chameleon enviorments that may have been toxic the lizards have kinda made a immunity to them so to speak or may do so because of evoultion I cant beleive I didnt see that thank you for that info I think im going to go for a pothos.
