what are some of the insects you can feed a 3-4 month old panther chameleon? my mom said i shouldn't feed him meal worms some i dont if she is right or not. also can u feed the veggies or fruit because i think i read that somewhere. please reply back!

Your mom is right - avoid mealworms and waxworms (one now and then is okay as a treat)

Better options: roaches (of an appropriate size), silkworms, crickets, superworms (aka kingworms), hornworms, isopods, phasmids, moths, cabbage lopper worms, butterworms...
Most panthers dont eat veggies and fruit (that's typically the vields). Feed the veggies and fruit to the crickets and roaches instead, to make them nutritious.

ok

ok thanks for the info but im only feeding him crickets right now. is that ok or do i need to get those more... exotic type insects?

I truly believe variety is important to the health and happiness of the chameleon, so the more variety you can provide the better.

That said, yes, he'll be okay on just crickets, at least for now. :) Please be sure to gutload and dust the crickets.

Would you like me to provide a few other web references on feeding?

If you are just feeding your cham crix for now, he/she may get bored and stop eating, if he/she does this, start to offer a variety like Sandra mentioned. Don't panic right away until you try something else, if they aren't eating anything....then panic
