This requires an open container of water to function so the only way it would work for a chameleon would be to place the open container on top of the enclosure and have the mist spill over the edges into the cage. It would do little to increase moisture for drinking purposes but would increase humidity. They do look cool in operation and provide that low hanging fog look.

Also be careful and do not put this in your enclosure in an open container as the ultrasonic device can actually cause burns.

I would not use it, most ultrasonic devices like this create a dense fog that just makes everything wet, not humid. If you want to get something that will make things humid.... get a humidifier or spray more often.
