Is it harmful to my veiled chameleon
if i have a reptifogger and a habba mist
(it sprays once every 3 hours for 30 seconds.)
???
if so could i just change my habba mist to once every four hours
for 30 seconds? or should i return the reptifogger?

I'm an artist so i really got the fogger for its rainforest like appeal,
but I wanted to know if anyone else here has experience with foggers
and misters used at the same time.

Allot of people don't recommend the Fogger as it can cause respiratory infections if the air in your enclosure is stagnant. Which is more likely to happen if your using a glass terrarium. I used a fogger in a glass terrarium and lone behold my chameleon has a respiratory infection. I would not use the fogger and stick with the Habba mist, making sure your enclosure is completely dry before doing another misting. assuming you have a Veiled Chameleon by your Avatar this should be fine.

Good luck.

I will agree with xenoic, the foggers can create a very stagnant atmosphere if not properly circulated, i even decided not to use one because it puts water everywhere and things get to humid, this is in a huge screen enclosure as well.

Foggers are excellent tools when used properly.

My wiedersheimi serreta and Perreti enclosures use the reptifogger without health issues at all, largely due to propper air circulation.

That being said, Calyptratus chameleons really don't require the high humidy that some do, so save your money for something like good lighting such as a mercury vapor spot bulb.

A small cup with a pin hole in the bottom placed over a tree or other live plant will supply drinking water to your Calyptratus, your plant, and raise the humidity slightly.

I would suggest to stay away from the mercury vapor bulbs unless you have a meter to monitor it. It can get dangerous in a small enclosure without monitoring the temps and the UV levels.
