Necrosis!

I have probably the meanest chameleon walking on this earth and I found out she has a problem with her tail. I believe it is necrosis. I heard I can soak it in water but I can't even hold it since it is so mean. Please help!

Pictures? That's about the only way to help. Is it stuck shed skin cutting off circulation? If that's the case, the skin has to come off asap. If the tail has turned black or gray, you probably need to take her to the vet or the infection could spread and become fatal.

(I always say to remember that chameleons are scared, not mean. I still don't want to be bitten by a scared chameleon, but she's not doing it because because she doesn't "like" you. With a lot of patience, you can probably train her to get over the worst of it. Just FYI.)
