Nebula's 3rd clutch????

Hi Gang, Nebula laid her first fertile clutch on 11-20-08 and her second clutch 1-19-09. She just laid a 3rd clutch 03-27-09 (Friday). I did not dig them out until today because she was so tired from digging and laying. Is it possible that these eggs are fertile? Can she retain sperm for that long? They eggs don't appear to be molded or dark?? Should I hang onto them? Her previous eggs are coming along nicely and hopefully by July the first batch should be hatching!

Sometimes they are, sometimes they arent. I have a female ambilobe that laid a 3rd clutch about a month ago. She laid 26 eggs, and 3 of the eggs molded and the rest look perfect.

Its quite possible that they are fertile. I would incubate them anyway...worst that can happen is that they will go bad.

I seem to think so as long as you have proper conditions.Finding out
more on eggs could be helpful.Sometimes it is hard to tell if they were
calcified and have heard that the first few clutches of eggs are infertile.
If your planning on killing them off I would take care of them.

I was sure that the ugly eggs laid by my veiled were bad. My friend, Steve, said what is the down side? Just keep them properly and if nothing happens what hat you lost?? Good advice as I just took out baby # 14 this morning. My first baby chams and I would have tossed them. One more example of really good advice from people on here. Give the eggs a chance.:):D:):D
