Nails

I took Maxey to the vet because she quit climbing. To my surprise because I didn't look at her feet before I took her all but two of her nails were gone. The vet said it could be a vitamin a defencientcy because there was no injury. But she wasn't sure and she couldn't promise they would grow back. Well I've been dosing her twice a week with vitamin a and yes they grew back and she's off and climbing again. She is such a miracle to me. She has survived despite my ignorance. How I love her.

I give Maxey Fluckers liquid vitamin high quality for all reptiles. It has 913240 u of vitamin A 73064 of vitamin D and since I have started giving her this she has went from being just black when she's angry and lime green when she's happy to having the colors of yellow spots, orange. spots and turquoise down her back. All of her nails grew back and she's climbing and roaming again.

Be careful. Vitamin A is fat soluble so can accumulate over time to the point it becomes toxic. It isn't excreted as easily as Vit. D. If you have corrected a deficiency great. Don't overdo it!
