Nail guard

So, I read chams can break their nails while climbing the cage. Rupert loves to hang upside down, so it got me a tad worried.
Any suggestions on what can I fit inside the cages? I only have gutter guard, but it's quite narrow.. it will drive me mad if I try.

You can line the inside of the cage with that green plastic mesh you can get from Home Depot or Lowes. It is in the garden section and used instead of chicken wire.

You just attch the mesh to the screen and then attach your decor to the mesh.

Wow I wish I would have seen this a couple days ago. Instead I over lapped two layers of the square pattern garden fencing. It took FOREVER!

Out of curiosity, how does this prevent them from climbing exactly? I have the same problem with Marimo climbing upside down the whole time and am considering doing the same thing. But I would just like to know why it works

it's for preventing them from damaging their nails while climbing. If they (nails) get stuck in fine mesh, they may come off.. we don't want this, do we?
